It was totally weird being back in the real world after our European tour, but we managed to get back into the swing of things.

We went to Bryan to have Father’s Day with my grandfather and my father and we had a really good time and got to give my dad his cane from Istanbul!

The Copa America Centenario was held this year as well as the Olympics so we got to watch a lot of US Soccer on my new projector screen. Even if the final results from both teams were disappointing the projector setup was not.

We got to get more involved at church and served at the backyard bible club end of week fair where I got hit in the head by a golf club swung by a little punk.

We went exploring around your new apartment and had some fun getting outside at parks!

We went to The Woodlands and stopped at The Shack to have some awesome burgers! The next day was Marian’s wedding which was a lot of fun!

We also got to hang out at your place a bit more and try some new recipes!

P.S. This was the part of my life that I decided I was going to marry you. I had been praying about it for a while and the Europe trip was huge because I found out even after spending all day every day with you for about 4 weeks, I loved you even more than when we had started. We started reading Tim Keller’s The Meaning of Marriage during this time and that helped me start to wrap my mind around what marriage would take as well.
